The stand-out nutrient in karengo is iodine but it is also high in iron, folate and dietary fibre.
Kūmara is a source of dietary fibre and contains a dietary significant amount of potassium (they are one of the highest potassium-containing vegetables).
Manuka honey has antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties.
